How to Transfer credit On MTN Mobile network

Before you can start to transfer credit from any MTN line, you will 1st need to create a secret transfer pin. This pin will be best known to you alone, and the pin must be 4digit. Any body that eventually knows the pin can transfer your credit without you permit.

How To Change Your Default Pin

All MTN line has a default pin which is 0000, you have to change the pin to a prefered one that only you will  know it. You can change the pin by using USSSD or SMS.

How To Change Using SMS

Simply send the following message via SMS to gain your new transfer pin. Go to your message box, type......

0000 1212 1212 to 777

NOTE:

0000 is your default pin

1212 is your new pin

The repeated 1212 is for confirmation

Then 777 is what you are sending the message to.

You can as well change the 1212 in the code to any code that suits you.

If done correctly, you will receive an message that says your pin has been successfully changed.

How To Change Your Pin Using USSD

To change your pin transfer via USSD simply dial *601*defaultpin*newpin*newpin# then press the send button.

That is *601*0000*1212*1212#. If done correctly you will receive a message saying your pin has been changed successfully.

How To Transfer Credit

It can also be done via SMS and via USSD

How To Transfer Using SMS

Go to your message box and type the following command

Transfer 09039619128 200 1212 the send to 777

NOTE:

09039619128 is the number you are sending the credit to

200 is the amount you are sending

1212 is your new transfer pin you changed to

777 is what you are sending the message to.

If done correct you will receive a message that says "You are sending N200 airtime to 09039619128. To confirm text YES. When you do that you will receive another message that says "You transferred N200 to 09039619128. Thanks for using share n sell service.

How To Transfer Using USSD

To transfer using USSD, dial *600*phone number*amount*pin# then press send

 that is if you want to transfer N200 to 09039619128 dial *600*09039619128*200*1212#.
